We spent 5 days and 4 nights in July 2026 at Olga's villa. We were four adult children and two parents. To be honest – the place was so great it was hard for us to leave it for a few hours and to do some sight-seeing. Olga and her husband Nikos went out of their way to make our stay the best vacation we ever had! For example - as our flight and journey from Heraklion airport made our arrival to the villa rather late Olga prepared and greeted us with a superb local dish of stuffed vegetables which was delicious. In addition, she made us an orange cake which was amazingly good and gave us bread and home-made wine and olive-oil. The place itself – extremely high standard, spotless. It was fully stocked, as if the owners lived there or as if we were at home. All the way from herbs and spices in the kitchen to an outside sound-box you could put near the pool, and pool towels. Fully air-conditioned, spacious, quiet, and beautiful in itself and its surroundings. It is situated in an olive orchard with a "to die-for" view of the sea and coast, but only a few minute drive from the town center and the main road. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ (coal and lighting fluid of course provided) and sitting on the swinging chair in the porch. Olga's husband came every day to tend to the pool (with in itself always had sun-heated warm water) and to feed the chickens that laid fresh eggs for us every morning – a real treat. To sum up – a Greek paradise and a place to come back to. Olga speaks excellent English and is very easy to communicate with. I envy future guests but hope to be one again in the future.
