Self Catering Accommodation in Amed

Everything was nice about Barracuda. The location is great, the food from the bar is good, and the place is really comfortable. Everyone in the staff is very friendly and sweet. I had a great time, and will definitely stay here again if coming back to Amed.

Beautiful views and excellent service. The villas are gorgeous and food delicious. The team at the villas were exceptional and helped us organise day trips, transport etc. Staff were accommodating and happy to help. The massages were fantastic. A wonderful place to unwind and be spoilt!

We had a wonderful stay at Damar Sanjaya Uttama. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our cottage with view on the Gunung Agung was spacious and beautiful. The location was perfect. Melasti is a quiet area in busy Amed. We loved the street with many different food options and cute cafés. You can rent a scooter at the accomodation to get around. We would always come back!

We were here in July as a family group of 10, including 4 children between 4-7yo. We stayed at the big villa down by the water for a week and absolutely loved it. The place accommodated us perfectly. Wayan and his term were incredible hosts, and it was super easy communicating with Wayan via Whatsapp - from organising airport transport before we arrived, to laundry, to shuttles, to breakfast. The villa itself is beautiful, better than the photos. The kids enjoyed the pool A LOT (a little deep so swim vests recommended for little kids). The adults were able to do some swimming/snorkelling off the rocky beach. If you stay here, you'll fall asleep to the sound of the ocean in the super comfortable beds! We loved the outdoor showers. Breakfast can be ordered from the warung at the top of the drive, making for very leisurely mornings, or you can stroll down to Lipah in 10 mins if you wish. Epic massage place around the corner, as well as some delicious local warungs. Supermarket and pharmacy also within a couple of minutes walk. Wayan helped shuttle us into Amed when the truck was available, or organised local drivers. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Amed is a quite little fishermen’s town so if this is what your a looking for this place it cherry on top. Everything is perfect. It is a sweet little oasis… good delicious food and very kind staff.

I just loved my stay in Comeon. First of all, the owners Iluh and Kadek and their family are the friendliest people you can meet and they really take such a good care of the place. Kadek also took me on a trip before sunrise to see some attractions and drove me to Sidemen after my stay with a good price. I definitely recommend asking him for a tour during your stay. The breakfast - banana pancakes with fresh fruits - was so delicious. The location was really good in my opinion: the lovely little beach of Jemeluk Bay where you can swim or snorkel is just a few steps away, there are really good warungs nearby and restaurants up the hill with a view. I didn’t have a scooter and I managed fine by foot. Ok, there is no pavement in that part of Amed and when it gets dark, walking could be a little exciting, but I didn’t mind. The room was spacious, cozy and was cleaned every day. The bed was really comfortable, I slept so well there. The yard was calm and beautiful with all the flowers and plants. I will definitely come back to Comeon next time.

We chose this villa because we wanted to relax for a few days during our busy Bali trip, and it was perfect. The villa looks just like the pictures—beautifully decorated, very clean, and everything is either new or very well taken care of. The bed linens were fresh, soft, and smelled lovely. The fans and air conditioning in the bedrooms work quietly and are placed well, so the cold air doesn’t blow directly on the bed. I loved all the little details—everything looks like it came from a home design magazine. The kitchen was amazing, fully equipped with everything we needed, even a blender, and there were plenty of glasses and plates. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and cold water, which was a very nice touch. The cleaning was the best I’ve ever seen during a stay. Everything was spotless, and the staff even cleaned the pool regularly, which was large and had multiple levels—we loved it! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We also ate at the on-site restaurant several times, and the food was delicious—I highly recommend it. It’s important to know that Amed is not a busy area. Shops and restaurants are more spread out, and there’s less hustle and bustle than in other parts of Bali. We chose this place for exactly that reason—it’s perfect for relaxing and unwinding. A big thank you to the team at Abing Villas for making our stay so special. And a special thanks to Ketut and his team for helping us organize a birthday cake. It was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t recommend this place enough!

I stayed in Double One Lipah for a month; it was a great experience. The staff were always helpful, and they were patient and good-humoured with me learning the local language. My apartment was at the back of the hotel, up two flights of stairs. It was spacious, with a kitchenette with two burners, a fridge, and plenty of pots and utensils. The bathroom was also spacious and had a good-sized bath. The generous balcony had expansive views of palm trees, the ocean and the hills to the east, dotted with huts and villas; it was quite a panorama. Lipah is not as busy as other places further along the coast. The ambience is relaxing; the locals are friendly and welcoming. There is a pool at the front of the hotel, and the gardens are well-maintained. There is a small grocery store/ cafe nearby and a currency exchange. Plenty of good restaurants are within walking distance, and the food is fantastic and cheap. The beach is a short walk from the hotel. My stay was a real tonic for the soul, and the price was great. I would move into this villa permanently if I could stay longer... 4.11.24 to 2.12.24

Very nicely furbished, spacious, and modern villa with ap private pool having an infinity view to the sea where you can enjoy the sunset and sunrise views. A fully functional kitchen, drinking water supply, television, fridge, shower ammenities and comfortable beds and sofas.

Just a fantastic place. The China Villa is furnished with beautiful Balinese furniture, it has 4 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a beautiful outdoor area (a dining table for 10, a kid's table, a bed, 2 sofas, a huge sitting area, sun beds...), a kid's and adult's pool, just for the China Villa. It is right at the beach, but it's not so easy to enter the ocean because of the rocky beach. The service is just outstanding. Wayan, Made and Intan cooked for us and were just perfect.

Really cool place to stay. The villas look as on picture and are very private and calm. There is everything you need, including kitchen. The beach is very near and so are restaurants. There is possibility to rent a scooter as well in case you want to go to other beaches and enjoy beautiful snorkeling. The manager Yanto is very kind and helped to make our stay great. I can definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come again.

Very nice personel, beautiful view from the terace and from the pool. Big bathrome and open place for the sitting and to rest. Good to have possibility for the breakfast - made on the terace.

I would say, that photos don't quite match the reality. At photos it looked better. But the staff? They make my stay at home, they were pretty amazing.

Clean spacious room, rooftop restaurant with view over rice fields, super friendly owners and staff, convenient location, scooter rental. They arranged a ferry to Gili Meno and the owner personally dropped me off there. Will definitely come back here when in Amed. Thanks a lot!

Everything: the views, the pool area, the clean and carefully designed rooms, the comfy bed, the zero noise around, the super welcoming staff and owner… This place has it all. For sure one of the best small hotels in Amed.

I really loved this stay. It was central in town but just off one of the main streets, tucked away in a nice, quiet neighbourhood so it was peaceful. The staff were great throughout my stay, always friendly and happy to help with anything you might need, including scooter rentals or other arrangements. The rooms were super comfortable and private, with really good air conditioning and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms were basic, but had everything you need and were perfectly fine. One of my favourite things was how well the room was set up for comfort and relaxation. The blackout blinds were excellent, so you could easily sleep in or take a nap during the day without being disturbed by the light. There was also a small fridge outside with a kitchenette setup, which was really convenient. The pool area was another highlight — a really nice, relaxing space to unwind. Overall, it just had a very calm and pleasant atmosphere. I tried to extend my stay because I enjoyed it so much, but unfortunately it was fully booked, which is completely understandable given how nice it was. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I really like the place was more then perfect the bungalow was quite spacious the kitchen was the cherry on top and overall the propriety was nice
