Self Catering Accommodation in Buguggiate

The space was great for my needs. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics. It was very clean. The location is within walkable distance to everything in town. Communication with the owner was very attentive through WhatsApp.

Great, clean and quiet place! Very close to the lakes and old town close by. Very friendly hosts that responded super quick to our questions and prepared everything last minute for us! Nice restaurants and supermarket in walking distance! Was great for a few days.

The a/c was a lifesaver. The apartment is small but comfortable in a decent central location for visiting Como and Lake Maggiore.

Very friendly host, clean room and clear instructions

The apartment was very clean and organized.

Really nice apartment, excellent location, very dog friendly, fresh cut flowers in the apartment and unexpected welcome breakfast/snacks. Super close to center, nice park across the road, green surroundings.

We had a really wonderful stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything was well organized, and we felt very relaxed during our time here. The host was kind and responsive, making the whole experience even better. The location was also great, with everything we needed nearby. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to others.

Simona is exeptional and very kind person. She was super flexible with the check-in and check-out and did everything and more to make our stay smooth. She even brought us some pizza from the family dinner they had during our stay. All her family that lives on the property was very kind to us and I have to give special thanks to her husband who helped us getting to the airport early in the morning on Sunday. What a lovely family! The place itself was lovely, clean and very cute with attention to detail so all our needs were met and actually exceeded. The area is lovely as well and the only thing I would definitely change next time is to come by car so we can explore all the lakes around.

The apartment is very convenient for a family. There were four of us – two adults and two teenagers. Barbara’s apartment has everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, and everything necessary for cooking and heating food. There is also a washing machine, air conditioning in every room (which is a huge plus!), and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Barbara is very responsive and always ready to answer any questions, give recommendations on where to eat, where to shop, etc. She was always in touch with us. On the day we arrived, Barbara left a bottle of water in the fridge, a bottle of wine, and plenty of delicious treats for breakfast – we are very grateful to her for her hospitality! Another huge plus for us was that each of our teenagers had their own room! That made our vacation peaceful :) – parents of teenagers will understand! :)

The host had difficulty communicating in English, so most of our communication during the stay was done using Google Translate or AI tools. However, we were able to communicate sufficiently when needed. On the day of my arrival, there was a railway strike, and my arrival at the accommodation was delayed by about 2.5 hours, past 10 p.m. I had missed dinner and was very hungry, and the host kindly told me to help myself to anything in the fridge or on the shelves. I was given a ready-made soup, which I replaced the next day. I truly appreciated this kindness. Some light snacks and water were also prepared in the room. The house was always very clean, including the kitchen and bathroom, and it was clear that cleaning was done thoroughly. The location was convenient, with the station and supermarkets within walking distance. In addition, the Wi-Fi connection was excellent — better than anywhere else I stayed during my trip.

Amazing atmosphere and incredible hospitality by our host. I can only recommend this place.

The villa is a precious gem. With just the two of us, we had the whole house to our convenience. Mrs Stephania explained everything and showed us all the rooms, including the basement. The villa looks like it was abandoned by its inhabitants quite some time ago, but it is kept in a pristine state.
