Beautiful Tuscan buildings with fantastic grounds and views over Tuscany. It is in a great location. San Gimignano about a 15 min drive. Kitchen is stocked with relatively basic equipment but enough to get by. Dim lighting in the house (Il Forno) but partially expected in such an old villa. Pool wasn’t open when we were there (15-25 April) Overall a fantastic trip and a real feel of rural Tuscany. Highly recommend

Lovely place, I hope to come back one day. We stayed as family with 2 small kids - they were supper happy and entertained with the grounds, playground, rabbit and turtles, pool and a little "river" next to the road. Views are spectacular, and so is the peacufull area. Food in the restaurant is very good, breakfast varied, dinners tasty. Washing mashine accesible at the reception. Apartment was spaceful and clean.

The views were incredible and the place was very peaceful. The swimming pool was great for the kids, they enjoyed going for a swim after a day full of visits. Borgo della Meliana is within 1 h distance by car of the most iconic places in the Toscana: Firenze, Volterra, Siena... We would recommend it for sure!

Beautiful grounds, although still under construction and not finished. Little shade, but very well maintained. Very nicely and tastefully furnished. High quality equipment. Fantastic (shared) pool area.

Our stay at a charming hotel in a medieval Tuscan village was like magic, with panoramic views over fields and terracotta rooftops. The beautifully restored house, complete with antique wooden beams, felt like stepping back in time. Our host greeted us with genuine warmth. He was very supportive and friendly. The place fully immersed us in the authentic spirit of old Tuscany. Hotel is close to San Gimignano and 10 min drive from train station Castelfiorentino. The local café is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the evening.

It was quiet and a beautiful location with a very comfortable apartment. We booked last minute and were not disappointed! The host was very helpful and friendly, the pool was beautiful and the location was quiet. We had everything we needed in the apartment and were gifted a lovely bottle of wine.

It was absolutely perfect. The view was amazing. The pool looked amazing - we couldn't try it because we stayed in early April. The host is great as well.

Everything like in the picture. Beautiful views, nice pool, tennis courts, great spacious newly renovated apartment with great kitchen, all new appliances and kitchenware. Will be back!

The marvellous house in Toscana with incredible and stunning view. The swimming pool is great and clean,every morning the staff cleaned it carefully. The family- owner of the property is extremely helpful,they met us and helped with some small trouble with electricity and toaster (just didn’t work,but the owner replied immediately and provided the new one facility), and for our coming they prepared the welcoming bottle of wine, that was very nice and warm from their side. All furniture inside is very interesting, there are a lot of cosy and interesting details, antique things. So everything in this house is made with love and dedication. We really appreciated. The garden is beautiful and well prepared, everything is cut and organised, the great work. Just be attentive- the address in Booking is not exact,but the owner sent us the real address and all coordinates previously.
