Il Marigot Palms ha una vista incredibile sulla baia. L'abbiamo scelto soprattutto per quello e devo dire che ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. I padroni (belgi) sono gentili e disponibili e ci hanno consigliato vari posti e ristoranti da provare (compreso quello dall'altra parte della strada che prepara delle aragoste enormi e buonissime). La nostra camera era molto comoda e con ogni confort e la colazione preparata dalla padrona era ricca e gustosa (ho personalmente apprezzato la frutta fresca locale ed il caffè espresso italiano). Bella la zona piscina anche se a dirla tutta, non ne abbiamo usufruito visto le spiagge che si trovano nei dintorni. Come sempre avremmo avuto bisogno di più tempo da trascorrerci.

Oasis Marigot's Villas are set beautifully in the shady tree canopy 200 ft above Marigot Bay. It seems a lot higher given that you gain this elevation in less than 0.06 of a mile. Perhaps the cable car funicular, which carries you up the steep incline and provides sweeping views of the crystalline waters of the bay below, adds to the sense of being above it all. In any case, the total effect is one of living in a paradise garden with tropical flowers, myriad birds from the bird sanctuary situated another 300 ft above the aptly named Oasis. Below, there is all inclusive resort that shares its' ferry and a small sandy plot with the Oasis. You can have a decent breakfast or lunch and drinks galore at the shoreline property. There are about a half dozen restaurants within a half mile around the Bay, accessible by the free ferries -- all serving edible food. One newer restaurant -- named The Villa -- serves a more upscale meal with fabulous views from its patio on the South side of Marigot Bay. The rental villas are clean, well appointed, air conditioned, storm shuttered, with dual stacked patios. Ours had a King sized bed on the first floor, a large rainwater shower on the mezzanine level and upstairs a small lounge, breakfast nook, efficiency kitchen and larger deck facing toward the mouth of Hurricane Hole, as Marigot Bay is been know to sailors. You can sit or lie in a hammock on the deck and watch sail and motor yachts come and go all day long. Overall, we are recommending Oasis Marigot and its accommodating staff to friends -- and to our extended family for a return trip.

Pat was a great host, nothing was too much trouble, the apartment was roomy and airy and well equipped and she helped organise transfers and car hire. The bed was very comfortable and the shower lovely and hot. The location on the west coast is great, close to lots of beaches and the surroundings beautiful

Very good location with amazing view to the sea and mountain. Ruth made us feel so welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend the apartment to experience the island.

Absolutely beautiful little unit with amazing views. Marcia was an angel and was really accommodating. It had everything you needed and was very comfortable. Being set in the hills it was really quiet and peaceful (most of the time.. you can hear the road below and the neighbours dog could bark a lot). There is a beach within walking distance… and it’s like your own private beach or one just used by the locals. The village is really lovely with a really nice beach and friendly people.

The property is carefully run by a lovely couple, Pat and Nat, who are at the top of my personal list of hosts around the world. Cleaning staff is great, too. The apartment interiors really shine!

Suzanne was very helpful and friendly, she organized the drivers permit for us prior to our arrival, as we walked out of the airport, she picked us up. The apartment is modern, clean, safe and fully equipped with all necessities. We were there for a very short stay, 2 days, the apartment being located at the middle of the western side of the island, allowed us to explore both North and South of the island each day. There was a gas station, shops and eating places not too far off a drive, It was a beautiful adventure and we will be back. Thank you Suzanne!
