The view from every window of the lodge is just breathtaking, the landscape really is incredible. It’s definitely a perfect, rural place outside of Tromsø to spot the Northern Lights on a clear night (we had two clear nights and saw them both times!). The drive took roughly 40 minutes from Tromsø and was very direct (we hired a car). Benedicte and her husband were lovely and gave us great advice/reassurance and help on getting from the main road up the driveway to the house. We had a quick tour of the house and how to use things (like the Sauna), then were left to relax and enjoy our time there, but felt very comfortable knowing we could contact Benedicte if we needed anything. The lodge itself was well-equipped and spacious, yet cosy and warm. With comfy beds, cosy chairs to watch out the window for the Aurora, a great fireplace, Netflix etc, and a lovely sauna! There’s a well-equipped convenience store in Sjursnes that we used for a grocery top-up, it was 15 minute drive away along an incredibly scenic road! And we also loved the Aurora Alps Breivikeidet husky sledging as recommended by Benedicte (5 minute drive away). Already thinking about a return trip.

this is the best place to stay on the lungen. this is the first time I've seen such a well-equipped cabin. special thanks to the owner for sharp knives!😀 The kitchen has everything you need to cook any food! despite the proximity of the road it is not audible. neighbors live far away. we rested with dogs and no one was disturbed as well as us. the ferry pier in Tromso is 3 km away. we will definitely come back! Thanks Arild!

Renovated kitchen, friendly and welcoming host, reachable anytime as they live next door, 10-15 min drive to the lake hiking area, bed was made upon check-in, competitive price for an entire detached house, pretty quiet location although close to the road

Wonderful property and outdoor area, we loved siting outside with the fire pit looking out to the beautiful views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. We even got to see reindeers strolling by from the kitchen window and the northern lights from the garden at night, which was truly magical. Great amenities, everything you need to feel at home and super easy to get to from the ferry, only a few minutes down the road, and great location for exploring this beautiful part of Norway.

Casetta tipica molto bella, con 3 camere da letto, ingresso con cucina e salone molto bello e curato; vista fiordo, parcheggio privato. La signora molto disponibile 😊 ci ha anche portato dei biscotti preparati da lei 🫶🏼

A super beautiful kocation and cabin has everything Family run business with big focus on the guests Wonderful little gazebo with fireplace and free wood- great for grilling The center also offers turs- we did snowmobiling and dog sledding Both were fantastic and the dog sledding was so fantastic to be close to the friendly dogs and mushing out in the nature

Posizione eccezionale, tranquilla, vicino al traghetto. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e cordiale. La cucina è attrezzata con tutto l'occorrente, il soggiorno ha 6 finestre, da cui è possibile vedere l'Aurora boreale anche senza uscire. Spero proprio di tornarci presto.
