Mera’s place was clean, bright and comfortable. She provided literally everything that we could have possibly needed for our stay and went above and beyond in her hospitality. On chatting with other tourists on the island we realised the difference in the level of service that Mera provided - giving us advice, placing bookings for tours, making calls on our behalf and even calling on her mother to make us a curry!! We found everyone on the island so friendly and it started and ended with Mera ☺️

The location is great, less than a 10 minute walk from the ferry and multiple restaurants nearby. There’s a small grocery store out front too which is convenient. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was very spacious. The view from our Ocean View could not be beat. Just perfect. There’s a small beach in back which is great for a quick swim, but you’ll want to bike to the more scenic beaches nearby. Our apartment was spotless and nicely decorated (little touches like flowers, and nicely folded sheets) when we arrived and cleaned daily. Staff were very friendly and communicative. No problem paying with card even though some reviews said that was an issue.

El desayuno era muy completo, huevos al gusto, tostadas, chepes, mantequilla y mermelada, tostadas, fruta, café o té, zumo. Te lo sirven en tu porche a la hora que quieras entre las 7:45 y las 9:30.

It is huge. Ideal for big family and groups. Very well appointment, 2 washing machines, 2 refrigerators, 2 microwaves, huge kitchen. Excellent cutlery, crockery, and tools. 2 dining tables, lots of seating for several people. Selby, the manager, is very, very prompt, kind, and helpful. He arranged for pickup and drop and was available for every requirement. In fact, he even gave us a late check out at no extra cost until t 3 pm. Very courteous and prompt.

Talma and her family are very kind and always willing to help. We also rent the bicycles from them and they always took care that the bicycles will be performed us. The kitchen is amazing 💕 the room is beautiful and the location is very convenient. Close to the supermarket and to the jetty. I hope we will visiting again amazing La Digue and if we do so we will book in Pension Citadelle again 🫶
