If you have a car and/or a family, then it's a must especially when compared (in terms of space, value, and amenities) to the hotel options around train station and tourist attractions. Kids and dad really enjoyed the complimentary firewood (bonfire, but there's a fee for extra wood) and BBQ grill (charcoal briquettes). Very spacious (indoor and outdoor), nicely designed, and just comfortable. A fridge full of complimentary drinks was the cherry on top! It was so good, we (2 adults and 3 young kids) stayed an extra night (we were planning our holiday a day or two at a time).

מקום האירוח GUESTHOUSE YANAGIYA נמצא ברובע Magome בנאקאטסוגאווה, ליד Toson Memorial Museum, ויש בו אינטרנט אלחוטי בחינם ומכונת כביסה. Perfect location, the host was very kind and friendly. The dinner at the guesthouse was one of the best we've had so far in Japan (one of the dishes was wild boar and venison). The guesthouse is very spacious and right in the middle of the village.

Beautiful traditional house with a family room downstairs. Cosy & located on a nostalgic quiet street. Walking distance to the river and the attractions to the town. Host, Mr Masa was most kind and helpful.

Loved having a house in a neighborhood! The outdoor tub was the best addition to our stay too. Having a fast washer/dryer was a plus too.

We really felt at home in this house. Takashi paid attention to details like a selection of cds for us to listen to, a bearbell and a stocked fridge to make us feel welcome. We came by car, so it was easy to move around and go to the supermarket.

The facilities were complete, everything was well thought of. The hosts were always accessible through messaging and offered weather and travel tips.

It was very clean and the accommodation was well thought of, everything we needed was there. I loved the interior and how well kept everything is.
