We wish we could stay there for the entire trip.. loved the kitchen, the huge bed, the onsen, the welcome snacks. We walked or took a short bus to 7/11, and it was comfortable for us to commute in hakone in buses since there is a station very close. We had no issues with the self check in.

I loved all of the automatic sliding doors and the modern, clean aesthetics. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and even arranged for a taxi to pick us up the morning we checked out. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the onsen was clean, relaxing, and quiet.

I was really looking forward to staying at this property and it was a last minute decision to incorporate an overnight stay to Hakone in our travel plans. I am so glad we did. It was the highlight of our trip, and such a lovely way to slow down for a night. If you can afford the time to spend two nights here, I would definitely recommend it. The property location and views (we woke to perfect Mt Fuji views in the morning!) makes it a perfect choice. It is a short stroll "into town" with various restaurant options and just a short 100m or so walk to 711 for convenience items.

There’s a parking lot right next to the entrance. It’s best to arrive by car. Plenty of restaurants just a few minutes’ drive away.

During our stay in our room she provided us a hot water bag to make the bed more comfortable. The daily breakfast was also complete, delicious and nutritious. Kimie is a very kind and fun person, she invited us to social activities when the opportunity arose and we had a lot of fun. The house is a bit far from the train station but can easily be reached via bus from the station. It is located near the beautiful bamboo forest and there is also a convenience store nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. We felt at home and Kimie’s hospitality was superb.
