The location is in a quiet, beautiful, rural valley within walking distance to Sobaeksan trails. There's a bus stop nearby but please note that buses are very infrequent (once every two hours). This is a great location if you have a car, or are good at timing with the buses, or don't mind calling a taxi and waiting for it to arrive. There's a literal stream on the property too. The home and the area are absolutely gorgeous. We didn't have a car, and the owner reminded us to bring food since there are no stores within walking distance of the house. He also picked us up from the bus station! We hiked up the mountain and he checked in with us to make sure we made it back safely after it got dark because he was getting worried about us. Absolutely lovely hosts and a perfect home.

Located an hour away from the metropolitan area, Kensington Resort Chungju branch is a pet friendly resort where you can enjoy a pet vacation with your beloved dog. The property was nice and had good amenities. If you have a pet it is a nice stay. Came here on a cross country bicycle trip.
