Such a spacious, comfortable and relaxing place to rest and unwind with the option of sitting outside. I loved the private terrace overlooking the field, with a fire in the firepit (everything provided) and watching the deer crossing at dusk. Peaceful both inside and out. All the conveniences in the kitchen plus oil and spices were very welcome. Great shower and comfy bed. Lovely host to welcome us in.

It was amazing! Best family weekend here. Pretty and quiet location. Breakfast was very yummy, everything what you need and if you have some special need for your breakfast it’s not problem at all. In kitchen is everything, even aluminium foil or paper towels or plastic cups/plates for children. And the bed? Fantastic continental breakfast with freshly baked croissants and selection of breads (still hot), cheese and cold cuts, loads of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, hard boiled egg, etc. Enough to feed us for breakfast and lunch (take away bags are provided). Much attention to details went into this spacious accommodation, from mosquito screens to ventilator, from floor heating in the bathroom to radiator to heat the towels, from recliners (inside and outside) to welcome wine and chocolates.

She was very friendly and went out of her way to make my stay amazing. The location was great and the amenities were as promised. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable.

Set in Rasquert, in a historic building, 20 km from Simplon Music Venue, Op de Bult is a bed and breakfast with a garden and bar. Well equipped, beautiful clean apartment in a quant town. Anton and Ina are such friendly and accommodating hosts!! I did not realise the bedrooms were on the first floor up a steep stairway which my mother could not manage. Ina made a plan and made a bed downstairs. Delicious breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, juice, coffee, cheese, breads and cold meats. Highly recommended!

Appartement de Tuinkamer is located in Ter Apel, 15 km from Schloss Dankern, 17 km from Emmen Station, as well as 19 km from Emmen Centrum Beeldende Kunst. Loved the room, location, and hospitality. Room was more like a studio apartment with a stove, TV and a fully equipped kitchen with utensils, dishes, cutlery. Breakfast was more than what I expected. I mentioned that I was vegetarian and maybe just a coffee and some croissants would be ok. But I got so much more than that! The room itself is part of their house and the neighborhood is full of beautiful houses including this one. The location was beautiful. Didn't get a chance to walk around though. Maybe another time. The owner had come by in the night when I reached, to show me around. Before I left the next morning, she came by to ask me how everything was. It was a nice gesture.
