But the real charm came from the hosts, who welcomed us with the warmest smiles, a glass of homemade berry palinka, and fresh berries straight from their garden. If you’re up for a walk, an hour’s stroll will take you to a monastery complex that’s open 24/7 — a unique experience to have during your stay. It’s one of those places that feels homely and welcome, and for the price, it’s an absolute gem.

It was also cool to be able to check in via message and get the relevant details instantly, without waiting to meet someone. We enjoyed our stay very much and our child loved it too.
