Very close to the station, inside the place feels lika a museum. You keep your shoes outside but get slippers which creates a home vibe. The kitchen is well equipped, there are free bikes outside. I was offered a free toothbrush since I had lost my cosmetics bag.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Good location in the town, on a quiet street. Good communication via the app even though we didnt physically meet the owner. We were able to use the laundry facilities also which was great.

I don’t think there are enough words to describe our experience at George Coffee Homestay. It’s a beautiful location in the heart of Taroko, perfect if you want to go visit the national park. The hosts are just the most welcoming and warmest people I’ve ever met. They make you feel like home right away and truly go the extra mile to make sure you having a great time by recommending places to eat, trails, and things to visit. They were so kind and though this was not part of their responsibility, they’ve taken time to introduce us to the town, culture of Taroko people, history, traditions and a little bit of their beautiful and unique family story. We finished the night by making our own lucky bracelets which I personally loved and the highlight of the night was them playing a song that Boya wrote to Lisa about their love story. The room is super nice and big, cozy and very clean. The breakfast was delicious every morning and the best part if of course drinking their own coffee. If you’re looking for a place in Taroko, you don’t want to miss out on George Homestay! :)

Centrally located in Hualien city, Cozy House Hostel offers youthful and modern accommodation conveniently within a 5-minute drive from Hualien Train Station. The host was lovely and had a very sweet cat. The house was quiet and all the other guests were kind and respectful! We arrived by bike and easily parked our bikes out front. The neighborhood is very cute and lively. We had a yummy Taiwanese dinner, walked to the giant bike store for a quick repair, and used a coin op laundry all within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
