Tony was an accommodating host, friendly and helpful. Centrally located and simple, yet clean and comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and the town center. Great for a weekend away in the mountains. That we could bring our dog made the weekend and our stay all the more memorable.

Place with a long family history and the cosiest living room with a big fireplace ever. Exceptional guesthouse, exceptional hospitality. You will live with the family, they let you in, you can see how lebanese people here live their daily lives. Grace, the owner, knows how to keep the guest happy, and as a passionate cook will cook for you the most delicious breakfast or anything else. Try her homemade zaatar or olives! If you are interested in hiking in valey Qadisha, or planing to visit cedar trees, this is a good spot, where to start.

With 25 years of experience in the hotel industry, Tony knows what visitors need and has designed a facility that caters to peoples' needs. The accommodation is ideally located, with stunning view from the balconies at the front. It's a short walk to the historic heart of Bscharre as well as restaurants, supermarkets and sites of interest. I'd booked a bed in a dorm, and because there was availability, he generously upgraded me to a private room at no extra cost. Whenever I had a question about local experiences, he was a WhatsApp message away (and diligently provided information and happily so) ... I felt part of the family. He also connected me to locals who were able to show me the highlights of the region. The building has charm, the rooms are tidy, and some have recently been renovated. I'd stay here again, in a heartbeat.

Diane and her family were incredibly kind and hospitable. They took such great care of us, for example, by arranging a driver to show us around the area (Walhid), locating a national guide to take us to Baalbek (Mr. Johnny), cooking an amazing breakfast (homemade yogurt!), and offering us fresh cherries, apricots, and never-ending cups of coffee and tea. Her daughter Carol, studied in the States and is fluent in English and she often translated for us. This family is precious and they made our stay very rich and memorable.
