The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for us! We stayed there one night before and one night after our Gastlosen circuit hike. The start point of our 4-days loop hike was just across the street, next to the waterfall. So we could leave our luggage at the hotel and start the hike right from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. The room was very clean and well maintained. It was so clean that we thought it was renovated just before our visit. Later we asked the staff and were surprised to find out that it hasn't been renovated for 10 years. We really appreciated the cleanliness. There was a good variety at the breakfast, so everyone could choose whatever they liked. We also had two dinners at the hotel. Those were delicious, and even though there aren't too many options to eat outside in the town of Jaun, the prices were absolutely fair. We highly recommend staying in this hotel. We enjoyed it very much!
