The Nomad Inn Gujo se află în Gujo și are cazare cu WiFi gratuit și vedere la râu, precum și o terasă. There is nothing to dislike about the Nomad Inn. It’s a beautiful house with gorgeous views. The owner, Mr Masa is a very sweet person who was always happy to give suggestions and guide us. He helped us with our luggage and transportation as well, I can’t thank him enough. The house is close to attractions while being in a quiet area and also has all amenities you would need. I really wish I’d booked more time but will definitely be back

Several public and private baths to try, both indoor and outdoor. In a few of them the water could be very hot and perhaps a little difficult to handle, but that's probably part of the experience:) Fantastic dinner!

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. This place is amazing, the atmosphere is serene and tranquil, the hot spring baths are relaxing and the staff were kind and attentive. My girlfriend and I stayed here in late November for 2 nights, the rooms are large and comfortable, especially the tatami mats! We had a private hot spring bath room, which was extremely relaxing. The view from the room and the hot spring is a nice calm forest, there was a small hot spring stream just outside our window that bubbled away. The staff were great as well, and very accomodating. The town that the hotel is located in, Hirayu, was pretty closed when we were there, since it was a bit off season. It is challenging to find vegetarian food, but it is possible if you are creative. There is a general store nearby. The breakfast was amazing, quite different from a european breakfast but very much reccomended. We did a short hike to a waterfall nearby, it was very beautiful and the mountains are impressive. We got there by bus from takayama which was easy and convenient, the hotel is close to the bus terminal.

Reopened after renovation in 2022, Auberge Hidanomori is situated in quiet hills, a 10-minute shuttle ride from JR Takayama Station. Perfect oasis to rejuvenate! Absolutely stunning architecture throughout the hotel. Family who owns the hotel are incredibly kind with a touch of humor. Highly recommend staying here if you are staying in Takayama. The Hida Folk village is about a 35 minute walk from there and then you can continue on the town afterwards.

Offering traditional Japanese-style accommodation with spacious public baths, Yatsusankan Over 6 years old is a 6-minute walk from JR Hidafurukawa Train Station. It was a magical experience. We loved everything about Yatsusankan: The room, the atmosphere, the onsen, the staff, the high quality meals. It even started to snow when we were there, making the experience even more beautiful. Our 11 year old didn’t want to leave 😍 We could not be happier about our stay here and would return in a heartbeat.

ひらゆの森別邸湯う香三蔵庵 se află în Takayama, la 35 km de Gara Takayama, și pune la dispoziție o grădină, pârtie de schi și parcare privată gratuită. Location, private onsen in the suite, kaiseki dinner is elegant and delicious, so is the delicious breakfast, both served in our room, it’s a great experience. The staffs are very warm and helpful. It gave free entrance ticket to the big public onsen which is a great extra benefit.

Beautiful location and view of the river from the room we stayed in. Friendly host. The property had all the necessary amenities and was of a good size.
