We didn’t include breakfast in our stay as it was for 6 nights but did buy tickets for one morning and it was delicious for a reasonable price

Located within a 10-minute walking distance from the Zao Sky Cable aerial lift, Miyamaso Takamiya features 9 natural hot spring baths for guests to enjoy. it was the best experience for me to stay in this beautiful ryokan. the staff is very nice try to explain everything in english. they also provide yukata to wear. the food is very delicious. everything is exceed my expectation. also they send us to terminal bus by car, because there is a heavy snowfall.

The owner is very friendly. A very cosy guesthouse. I would thoroughly recommend it if staying in Yamagata. Great value for money and extremely welcoming. I would happily return. Most evenings you can join downstairs for dinner at 19:30, however sadly due to being tired from travelling during the day, I regretfully did not attend. All in all a great guesthouse to stay whilst in Yamagata.
