We came to Norway from New York for a family trip across country from Oslo to Bergen in April 2023 and we had booked in for a night at Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to break up the drive. It was our first trip to Norway and had no idea that we were going to have one of the absolute best experiences of the entire trip together there. The place is simply beautiful. The people there are incredibly attentive and helpful. The food at dinner and breakfast is world class. The location is stunning. As a personal side note to the owners: My father came to the U.S. from Kongsberg when he was in his very early 20’s and started his new life and family. Growing up in Southern California where my brother and I were exposed to a lot of the antique Scandinavian items, colors, and style. My father was a committed collector at flea markets and swap meets everywhere, and anytime he came across an old collectible related to his homeland, he would proudly bring it home and share the story of it with us, and then find a place to display it in their home. When we came into the main building to check in to our rooms, I told my 17 and 20 year old daughters, “this…this is the story your Grandfather was trying tell us with all those things”.

Small and super cozy apartment in a little village in the southern part of Norway. The apartment holds everything that is needed for a short stay, even a washing machine. The host is super nice, very friendly and fast reachable in case needed. We can definitely recommend to have a short stay in this cute cabin.

A very cozy, yet spacious apartment with an excellent view. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the living room was very comfortable. Everything appeared to be very clean, including the nicely done bathroom. While we ended up not using the sauna or laundry machine, it is very convenient that they are available. Internet was very fast and reliable, so if you need to get some work done, you'll have no trouble. Last but not least, there was a good indoor parking garage available, which I expect will be useful in wintertime. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future!

The unit was comfortable, homely and included an excellent range of facilities. It also included a nice area to relax outside.

Gausta Lodge med 6 sengeplasser i nærhet Doté d'un jardin et d'une terrasse, le til Gaustatoppen se trouve à environ 4,9 km de Gaustatoppen. Our expectations were fully met, it was very clean and cozy. Big pluss was having extra towels for everyone, which is not usual standard for area. Nice gesture from the owner was a bottle of wine and a drink left in the fridge for us. The view from the window is amazing. We would gladly come back someday again and definitely recommend to all.

Location is a marvelous ski resort in elevation 1000 m. I didn't recognize this from the info on Booking. It was a pleasant surprise to me, but may not be to everyone. Apartment is luxurious, well equipped for winter stay, including fireplace and ski boots dryers.
