Guests can go skiing in the Vratna ski centre, 5.5 km away. The relaxation centre in Terchova is 1 km away. Everything was perfect. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is well located, especially if you want to go explore gorges Janosikove Diery situated in Mala Fatra- one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Slovakia. The family compact room wasn't very big but it was equipped in everything you need for a short stay. And the breakfast was really tasty. The kinds corner is also a good idea.

A children's playground is also available at Chalupa Synka, while guests can also relax in the garden. Good location, food store(s), restaurants are in few minutes walking distance. Parking in the garden. Owner is very gentle, and can be reached via chat if needed. Good starting point for Malá Fatra tours and hiking. I recomend it, and would rent it again!

Fantastic location and lovely apartment. We had everything we needed, apartment is well equipped, bed very comfortable, lots of leaflets and books in different languages for ideas for trips etc. There's couple grocery shops in Terchová, plenty restaurants and attractions and lovely walks nearby. We spoke to couple local people and they were kind and happy to help.

Great location for taking parting in the Janosik extreme triathlon. The apartment was spacious, very modern and spotless. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Can’t recommend the apartment enough.

We were in the apartment with a private bath and full kitchen (with use of microwave and dishwasher in the shared kitchen down the hall). We thought the beds were super comfortable. We took advantage of the outdoor seating area for our dinners. All facilities were the absolute cleanest we have ever seen!!! The hostess spoke limited English, but thoughtfully called her son and had us talk by phone to ensure all our needs were met. The hiking advice was perfect! Walkable to grocery and restaurants in a quaint small town.

The place is very nice, close to the ski slope. The apartment is perfect, not big, but very well organized, so it is comfortable even for a large family. The kitchen is well equipped, you will not miss anything. The owner is very nice and willing to solve any request. I really recommend it. We spent a very nice time there. We would love to come back.

Views of the mountains from all the windows and the garden table, but only 10 minutes on foot to the supermarket and the bus stop in the town. And this cottage was really near the restaurant in the 'wooden cottage resort' where our accommodation was based. The facilities in the complex where this cottage is situated were lovely, and unexpected.
