The Hotel is very welcoming and light and the interior very stylish. Big windows and a lot of light and space. Our room was cozy and nicely done. We had a shower AND a bathtub! The breakfast was extraordinary. I have never had such a rich and diverse buffet. The host was there herself to reccomend and explain every type of food, if needed. Amazing, and 90% was home-made! i am still blown away by this luxurious breakfast.

The perfect spot for a little getaway in the forest. Location is great. We loved how many trails began right outside Granduca including a beginner friendly one. Our apartment was very comfortable, and well equipped. We could have easily spent a week there. Staff were incredible, very friendly, and we were well looked after by Nicole and Anna. We ate well at the restaurant/bar and enjoyed the spa. What a dream!

The first thing that struck us was how friendly and hard working the staff are. They really go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and they are a credit to the hotel. Even though we had one of the more basic rooms we still felt that we got above average standard for what we paid. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space to put away clothes. The facilities on site were very good: small and tranquil pool area with a range of sun loungers and chairs which were very comfortable, as well as a shaded terrace with hammock. The restaurant area for breakfast and the bar area had a really nice atmosphere, rustic and relaxing. The breakfast offering was exceptional- we were very impressed by this and looked forward to it every morning. Omelette was particularly delicious and the options to have a cheese and cold cuts plate felt very luxurious. The homemade yogurt was also the best I've ever tasted. We had a meal at the onsite restaurant (Mater) and were blown away. We hadn't expected this level of cuisine, assuming that it was just a standard hotel restaurant with pizza and pasta etc, no this was something else! Probably only suited to the one visit though for the experience. Definitely recommend booking during a stay.
