Beautiful location near cute town of Amarante which is charming with good restaurant offerings. The staff is fantastic, professional and focused on quality service and comfort. Highly recommend having car access and be prepared to drive a but for trips into the valley. Breakfast is tasty and adorable so plan your day prepared to enjoy an en suite or outdoor breakfast to take advantage of this lovely offer.

Everything! Everything about our stay at the Monverde was just wonderful. The staff went the extra mile in terms of small things that make a really big difference, from a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival, to special shampoo and shower gel for kids left by the bath for our two year old son! The location was beautiful and the food exquisite. We shall certainly be returning to Monverde.

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment we got was super modern and clean, with a small but functional kitchenette, a good size bathroom and two bedrooms. The bed we used was very comfy and we had a quiet night's sleep. The highlight of the property is the jacuzzi - the moment we checked in, we jumped straight in and stayed for an hour or more. It was a very relaxing experience, overlooking the hills.

The view from the room was breathtaking. The staff everywhere was very warm and welcoming and helpful. We liked a lot SPA procedures. The food was tasty, especially we liked the mango dessert. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar.
