It was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. I've never felt more comfortable and appreciated as a guest by the staff. Everyone was so welcome, the hotel is at a great location with a food court shopping mall just opposite and the train station at the front door practically. The restaurant Nor is lovely and has amazing food and cocktails and the atmosphere of the hotel is fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to stay with them for so long. The breakfast is also ace, I've never seen so much lactose free items ever and was so grateful for that as most places don't cater for me in that regard, with also alternatives such as gluten free and vegan friendly too and alternative milks available. Absolutely amazing.

My recent stay at the Scandic Anglais Hotel was exceptional, highlighted by its spacious rooms, stunning views, and comprehensive amenities. The accommodations provided plenty of space and comfort, and the views enhanced the overall experience. The breakfast options were diverse and delicious. Evenings at the hotel bar provided a perfect setting for relaxation, with a great selection of drinks. The gym was well-equipped. I highly recommend the Scandic Anglais for its outstanding services and facilities.

We had the best breakfast of all time, dozens of options like vegan, paleo area, smoothies, all-season fruits and bakery products. The room size was perfect for backpackers like us, no need for more space. The Elements spa is worth to visit. It has different types of saunas and a half-opened pool at the second floor. Really fancy! :)

We loved the setting - it’s a beautiful ship with great views. The location is great too - it was easy to walk to Gamla Stan and to catch a ferry to all the museums on Djurgården. Our room, Kartrummet, was quite spacious and lovely and warm despite -10C outside. Our boys’ cabin was more snug but very cosy - we were on a boat after all! We also enjoyed using the sauna and the breakfast was amazing.

I loved the room and the spa facilities. Definitely recommend the duo floating treatment. The lady giving the massage is excellent and very skilled and the dry floating treatment is an incredibly relaxing experience. It is definitely worth adding this to your stay. The room was nicer than expected. Our beds were fantastic and very comfortable. The view from our room was beautiful. The breakfast was lovely, ginger shots were a nice touch, everything was clearly labelled and there were a lot of vegan options.

Located as part of a big old market hall which is cool. Beautiful indoor courtyard serving excellent breakfast & lunch and transforms in a vibrant cocktail bar a few days per week in the afternoon. Very comfy bed. Beautiful room. We spent 45 min in the included private spa while waiting for our room as we arrived early, including a relax room, spacious sauna and steam room. Hotel's best feature might be the staff whom seem consistently helpful and cheerful.

We paid a small sum extra to enter the museum of the prison and it was very interesting exhibit. I would recommend learning about the prison while staying there. The room was very compact as you can imagine for an old prison cell, but very comfortable and lots of luxury. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice including oat milk and vegan cheese. The outside area is really nice to sit in and have a relaxing breakfast, but watch out for the sparrows as they will eat your unattended breakfast within moments!
