Balibo Fort Hotel is a truly unique travel experience, the quality of stay was like nothing else we experienced in Timor Leste. The rooms themselves are modern, very clean and wonderfully decorated, whilst being surrounded by elements of the fort. The pool was an absolute highlight, with wonderful views of the local mountain ranges. The food was excellent, and there is a huge breakfast. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, it was so lovely to see so many young people getting experience in hospitality.
The hotel is in very close proximity to the Australian Flag House/Museum, and there is a wonderfully kept museum onsite at the entrance gateway, with a broader focus on Timor Leste's history.

It is the second time for me to use Arbiru service in Timor Leste. This time I booked a room for my GF who went to Dili to attend Tasifest festival and celebrate her bday. No issues at all, good communication with the staff, who arranged an airport transfer. Yummy breakfasts as usually :)
