Set in the spectacular setting of Argentina's wine country and offering an outdoor pool, spa and free horse riding, Casa de Uco Wine Hotel & Spa is situated in Valle de Uco. We had the most wonderful stay in Casa De Uco - the setting is truly exceptional. We explored the vineyard by bike, took an archery class, went horse riding, enjoyed an Asado lunch (which was incredible, so much food) and of course sampled their wines. Every interaction with the staff was a delight and we felt so well looked after. Could honestly have stayed for weeks.

Tapiz is set in a 1890´s Renaissance Villa, surrounded by 10 acres of vineyards and olive groves. Guests can participate in the olive harvesting process and enjoy nightly wine tastings. Beautiful place. Incredible textiles museum.

The Vecchia Terra Apart Hotel offers modern, self-serviced rooms in the centre of the trendy San Rafael District. It offers a massage service, free Wi-Fi and complimentary parking. The room was super comfortable and had fantastic facilities. Breakfast was delicious. Above all, the staff went far and beyond by helping us get to the bus station as I'd run out of cash. El Encuentro is a small hotel in Chacras de Coria, 13 km south of Mendoza. With a rustic and elegant architecture, it features free Wi-Fi and free parking. Nice, quiet posada in a great location, a few blocks away from many different restaurants and close to bike paths for walking or biking. This is a local area with trees, small parks and a few wineries. Very relaxing, tasty breakfast and the pool was lovely as well. We spent many hours reading under a tree. Family owned and very friendly hosts. We would definitely stay again.
