We had a fantastic experience at La Butte aux Bois. We often stay at luxury hotels and occasionally find them disappointing when they don’t meet expectations, but that was not the case here. Everything was exceptional—wonderful staff, excellent rooms, top-notch facilities, and a great atmosphere.

Lots of space, both inside and outside, a swimming pond, a sauna and hottub, hammocks, BBQs and fireplaces. Surrounded by lush, green terrain abundant with birds and of course, the donkeys. I'll miss the sound of them... The surrounding areas are good for walking/cycling, but you won't find much in terms of bars/restaurants/shops. Whether that's good or bad depends on what you're looking for.
