We were not sure what to expect given the remote location but the hotel turned out to be fantastic! Breakfast was outstanding. Perfect spot to start your orangutan boat tours. It’s a 15 minute drive to the water and the airport. Spa was also superb!

Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. Surrounded by jungle. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem. They accommodated us when our flight was cancelled. The pool and food was fabulous. I would definately stay again.

The room is new and clean. the facilities provided are all excellent, A-class facilities like the new kettle as well as the dyson hairdryer. Water was given everyday as well as the pantry refill.
