This family-run estate spread across 20-acres offers accommodation in Masinagudi at the foothills of the Nilgiris. Everything was perfect. I decided to go here after reading all the amazing reviews about this place, vibe, hospitality and food. And it did not disappoint :) The deers are everywhere!! We opted to go for the bird watching activity and the guide was extremely well versed with all the birds. They also have freshly made jams and pickles for sale. I love the fact that this place felt so homely and they employ the local folk from the nearby village. If you're lucky, you might end up spotting elephants or bears.

The Tamara Coorg is a 5-star property about 8 km from Nalkanad Palace and Thadiandamol. Everything including welcome drink, food, suit, property, car wash and the list goes on

It is an absolutely excellent location with regular daily meditation, different several daily yoga lessons and a wonderful staff. Thank you very much to all who work there. I have been there many times and nothing has changed since Corona times. It is the perfect place for a spiritual stay and relax all senses in the wonderful garden and sorroundings.
