Featuring a fitness centre, bar and views of river, Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport is set in Tokyo and connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3. For an airport hotel this is pretty special. The onsen on roof is great. You can also go there from the cheaper Villa Fontaine (non-Premier) next door but I believe there is some kind of charge. The location is super because it's attached to a part of the aiport with lots of restaurants so plenty of options for supper if you don't fancy going far.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Hotel amazing and the staff very nice! Good onsen and very peaceful stay. We regret not staying more. Breakfast was very good! Room very clean and beautiful.

The ryokan is exactly how we wanted to have for our japanese experience, clean and so comfortable with a nice wood bath. Included also an awesome dinner and breakfast! Besides that, the map with a passport is a great idea to know the local shops and very welcome people. By far the best staying! Thank you so much!
