The place had everything one needs for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bedrooms are spacious, and there is an outside space with an option to grill (bålpanne) and a jacuzzi for the colder days. The location is very picturesque, and it is only a 5-minute drive to the small town with a grocery store, cafe, and a fantastic tree-top walk.

Offering affordable tickets to an indoor water park and spa/wellness centre, Hotell Fritidsparken is located in Skien Leisure Park, 3 km from central Skien. The hotel was located right outside town so it was easy to get to town and not be in the middle of the city. I loved the fact it was close to beautiful trails so you could go for a walk. It was close to all the facilities from the pools, skate rink and rope climbing areas. Great property! Also I really enjoyed the fact that we received both breakfast and dinner, very good food.

Offering a restaurant and sea-view patio, Hotel Langesund Bad dates back to 1898 and has long traditions of being a genuine seaside resort. Langesund town centre is about 700 metres away. Breakfast was good and the view of the water from the property was beautiful.
