We had a fantastic couple of nights, in the forest overlooking the water. So quiet and peaceful, and safe for the children and dog. We paid to hire bikes, rowed the boat, and ate at the cafe.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times before. Sofia the hotel manager, always tries to make our stay at the hotel is as good as it can possibly be. When Sofia finds out that we are coming she saves the biggest room with the best view for us. The breakfast is served in a first class restaurant (the best restaurant in Malmkoping). It is one of the best breakfasts we have had in Sweden. The hotel is located in a very quiet and secluded location which helps facilitate a good nights sleep. We will return again next year.

We attended a wedding at the manor and decided to extended our stay to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside. There's a gorgeous lake and you can go for a refreshing plunge (but the area has lots of waterlilies so can't do proper swimming) and hire a kayak. We also walked around the lake - it was great but would recommend borrowing the cycles from the manor as the 15-20km is more of a leisurely bike ride distance. Surrounded by idyllic countryside: flower fields where you can pick your own for a small donation, grain fields, cows and horses, old-fashioned barns, summerhouses, woods with blueberries and cowberries, lakes, etc. Comfy bed, clean new facilities, great breakfast. The main manor house is gorgeous.

We were a group of 3 healthcare professionals who transferred a minor to a hospital in Eskilstuna late at night. The trip to Eskilstuna, handover to the hospital staff, and lack of taxi service at the time took us till 4am to get to the hotel. Robert messaged me that he would extend our checkout to rest a bit, which normally is done at 11 am. He also reserved some breakfast in case we had missed it. These little things make the customer happy. Will recommend the hotel again. Malcolm
