Royal Resort and Spa is a beautiful hotel located along the banks of River Kwai. It features spacious accommodation with private balconies and the luxury of an outdoor pool. Stayed for New Years Eve. Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. Large resort but it was very peaceful. Unless you have transport, you can’t easily get anywhere else but it wasn’t a problem for us as we’d already spent 3 days sightseeing in the area. There’s a 7 eleven in walking distance!

The river view is awesome. Peaceful, quiet and relax. Highly recommend ppl who like to find a restful and peaceful place to calm. It’s convenient for car driver. You can biking around the property area. The room size is good. Although the resort has aged, the facilities are well cared. Bedding are clean and comfortable. The on-site view is exactly as the same as photos.

Set on the Kwai Yai River’s banks, Pung-Waan Resort & Spa offers rooms with private balconies and an outdoor swimming pool. The bright, air-conditioned rooms at Pung-Waan Resort have large windows. We traveled in low season, and the hotel was almost empty. So the waterpool was fully for us!

River Kwai Hotel is located in Kanchanaburi, a 10-minute drive from the famous River Kwai Bridge. The rooms are clean. Staff are friendly, allowed us to take breakfast before 6AM since we have to catch the train to Bangkok at 7AM. They are prepared earlier than the allowed time.
