Everything was amazing . Right in the heart of Cuenca this hotel is the best choice ! Located in a beautiful colonial style old mansion I had a room in the backyard which was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast had a great choice . The staff was outstanding , trying to fulfill every wish and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Would stay there any time again !

What a perfect place to stay in Cuenca, the best place we stayed in our 5 weeks in Ecuador. Wilmer is an utter delight, nothing is too much trouble for him; breakfast was delicious; all the staff incredibly welcoming and friendly; room was beautiful, bed very comfortable; lots of lovely, tranquil spaces to hang out. The hotel is called Hotel Balcon del Arte. The entrance is set back from the street. I arrived late and was let in by the nightwatchman and given my room key directly. My street facing room was lovely. Large, clean and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was functional and clean. The shower was not always hot. Good wi-fi signal. Situated centrally, it was an easy walk to restaurants, shops and museums. The ladies who were on reception were friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

It was very nice to be greeted by Stephen and another young lady. Stephen went above and beyond he really is a true Manager! We loved that we were welcomed the other gentleman walked us to the elevator and explained everything to us. The elevator was pretty cool. We appreciate The light sensors in the hallways. We appreciate the notice in the bathroom walls on how to save water. The whole properties was very clean. The two complementary waters came in handy. The upgrades look great. We love that our room overlook the cathedral. We thought the breakfast included was delicious and the rooftop restaurant was very pretty. The views were just spectacular. When we went for a walk, the staff offered umbrellas that came in handy. Appreciated the 10% off.
