Exceptionally courteous, knowledegeable and helpful staff. Everything is traditional and old-school; well preserved and maintained. Wonderful grounds to explore, and just sit and relax. Building steeped in history and a great location. Breakfast is superb. There is even the original water-well and pump inside the hotel.

The room was amazing! Everything provided... even TOOTHPASTE! I didnt expect that. Never had it before. A 5 minute walk to the center of Canterbury. The host was very friendly and thoughtful. Told me I could sleep in if I wanted!!! I DID. Dont miss this place.
