I stayed there for 1 night, the location of the hotel is not far from the train station and Kurashiki Bikan, allowing me to spend plenty of time taking cityscape photos, the price of the room included dinner and breakfast. the hotel was a little bit old but still functional and the room was clean.

It was also walking distance to the historical quarter and a lot of good restaurants around the area. The hot spring and other amenities were also perfect for relaxing at the end of the day filled with walking and exploring.

We had a very nice stay at Kurashiki Ivy Square. The room was well appointed, had a kettle and soaps and shampoos. There are three self serve washing machines that you can use for about $5 a load - bearing warned that washing and drying a load will take 2 hours. The staff is very accommodating and you are right in the middle of everything. A lovely town.

Our room had an adjoining garden, which was peaceful and lovely. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. The meals were traditional and delicious, with polite and kind staff. The bath was very enjoyable too.
