Rooms: We stayed in Colmena No. 2, and it was perfect for two people. Cozy, spotless, and pristine, with a perfectly clean bathroom and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 3. Food: Simply outstanding! The flavors were amazing!!! and authentic, the very best of Caribbean cuisine. And to top it all, Señora Merlis, with her warmth and kindness, made every dish taste even better.

Just keep in mind when booking that there are rooms with fans and rooms with air conditioning. The location is also ideal: if you walk to the right, you’ll find quieter hotels; if you head left, you’re just a three-minute walk from the main street and all the lively action. We’re very grateful we stayed away from the hustle and bustle, in this lovely spot in Palomino.
