Offering free WiFi, LAMP LIGHT BOOKS HOTEL nagoya is located a 3-minute walk from Exit 10 of Fushimi Subway Station. The property is 1.4 km from Oasis 21 and 1.8 km from Nagoya Castle. The decoration was very nice and all was very practical. The cafe was great.

The kids absolutely loved the decor. It was the largest room we've had in Japan so far with a sleeping area, lounge, kitchen, wardrobe and bathroom. We loved the washing machine and drying function in the bathroom which made it very easy to wash and dry all our clothes. There are no plates or cutlery in the room but the staff are happy to provide disposable ones upon request.

Each year we travel to Japan, trying to discover a new city or region. This time it was Nagoya. Since we didn't know this city at all, it was very helpful to receive a message from Mikiko telling us how to reach the Samurai house III from the train station. As soon as we emerged from the taxi, we were welcomed by Mikiko's staff. Everyone was very friendly and we had immediately the feeling to be at home. All the available equipment was shown to us and we were also told how to use everything. The house is really beautiful, with a superb interior design and a great attention to details. We've been traveling accros Japan for the last 15 years and Samurai Housse III is certainly the most beautiful and confortable accommodation we had the opportunity to stay in. The house is not far from a subway station, several konbini, restaurants and a very nice supermarket. Mikiko was always available to help us and answered all our requests very quickly. The next time we travel to Nagoya, we will most certainly stay again at Samurai House III. Thanks to Mikiko and her staff we were able to fully enjoy our stay in Nagoya. We are a family of five and had the floor to ourselves, the neighbourhood is quiet so it’s a great place to relax for a leisure trip. The couple who owns the inn are very sweet and friendly. We were provided great tea and even a kitchen to cook in. There was even little samurai trinkets around the area, including traditional attire for us to wear and take pictures with. For anyone with a little creative side, there is a book provided at the counter to write about your experiences and draw any doodles.

Breakfast was readily served at the time we had requested. There was good quality and variety of food served for breakfast. The hotel rooms and facilities were very clean and very well maintained. The rooms were very spacious and we had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay at Sanage. We also enjoyed both the public and private onsens available at the hotel. I love the peaceful environment in and around the hotel grounds. There were some scenic spots for photo taking within the nearby grounds. There was a restaurant near the hotel that served a wide variety of food, and we enjoyed all of the several meals we had at this restaurant.

We chose this location after deciding at the last minute to include Ghibli Park and Toyota Museum in our trip. We knew it was an adult-only hotel, which made it more interesting. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the hotel has more than the standard facilities and the parking is free
