Very good area to go out and have a walk. Close by to very nice restaurants and 2 blocks away from the beach front. Bathroom and shower are more updated than others we've stayed at. Room was spacious and great lighting. Beds where not too hard or soft and you definitely didn't feel the springs underneath. Check in was great... but you do have to be in contact because it is not self check in. Parking is not free and you do need to call ahead to verify how and where you can park. They do have the courtesy to have basic toiletries available. All in all it's a great place.

This hotel is located in front of Villa del Mar Beach. Hotel Hostal de Cortés features an outdoor pool, free WiFi in public areas and rooms with cable TV. I really liked this hotel, especially considering the price. The staff were super nice and accommodating. The location is fantastic, close enough to walk to the center and across the street from a decent beach. The breakfast was basic but good. The beds were also very comfortable. Highly recommended.
