The room was large, clean and comfy. There was a nice garden with seats to enjoy the sun, a shed to put and charge (e-)bikes and a common room with comfortable chairs and even a pool table. The location was also great with lots of great hiking and biking.

The location was very green, tranquil and historical (unesco world inheritance). It was very near the start of a trail that I intended to walk. The room was excellent. I only stayed for one night and left early, so cannot comment about diner or breakfast.

This family-run hotel is in a peaceful location in Drenthe, 15 minutes’ drive the Drentse Aa National Park. It includes bar with fire place, terrace and a lunchroom. Very nice and cozy hotel in the rural part of Netherlands. Large room with everything in it that's always required during the stays.

L'Hotel Restaurant Bitter en Zoet sorge nella storica Veenhuizen, un villaggio caratteristico della Drenthe. On an island of tranquility with an interesting historical background, this hotel, transformed from an old hospital is a delight to stay at. During the transformation the aspect of the hospital was kept, when appropriate, giving a charm to the buildings. My room was large and comfy, accessible through and right next to the restaurant, yet not noisy. The restaurant itself is a gastronomic experience I can only recommend to take. The breakfast is based on high quality products, tasty and fresh. All in all a very pleasant (a bit too short) stay.

Hotel Buxus is a small but nice self-service hotel in the green and quiet village of Gasselte of the province of Drenthe. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Very nice breakfast. Friendly and helpfull staff. Perfect common area, with pool table, and a bar.
