Set in a restored mill just 5 km from Leiria’s centre, Hotel Casa da Nora features a sun terrace with views of the Lis River. The lush gardens include an outdoor pool and tennis courts. We had a fantastic time during our 3 night stay. The property is beautiful with different areas to relax and enjoy. Our room was small yet charming, complete with wooden floors and a private balcony overlooking the river. The staff were warm and treated us like family, ready to help with anything we needed. Casa da Nora is a hotel, but we truly felt like we were staying at a family home. Many a moment was spent cuddling the resident cat, who happily greets guests and sunbathes alongside those enjoying the pool. In addition to the homey touches, the restaurant on the ground floor is excellent. A variety of Portuguese dishes are available. I am not exaggerating when I say I had one of the best desserts of my life. Make sure to reserve a table as the restaurant is popular. We will be recommending Casa da Nora to anyone who finds themselves in the area. A charming hotel with a true taste of home.
