The Villa is wonderfully situated for the western part of Provence. we were 2 families- 11 exults + 1 teen + 1 baby and it was exactly right for us. There is a very good kitchen with all the necessary appliances , a large dining room, 3 salons. everything was clean and modern in a very nice Villa with very nice grounds and a huge swimming pool. It was just ideal for us.

We liked everything! We can see ourselves returning for sure. Beautiful terrace overlooking vineyards and felt private even though the neighbour lives attached next door. Huge bedroom and comfortable enough kitchen. We had the best time here!

Gite des Ocres is a charming little vacation home in a lovely, very quiet location in the midst of nature. it is located a short drive away from Mini Colorado, Gordes and other beautiful villages and sights. The host Jacky is very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay!

It was an apartment. Kitchen was well stocked with everything to cook with. The unit was clean and th setting was peaceful. Vincent, the host, Vincent was wonderful. So warm and friendly; very welcoming. He gave us helpful suggestions on things to see. We loved being on a vineyard and being able to eat fresh sweet grapes right from the vine. The location was close to the town Saint Saturnin les-Apt and not far from another interesting town Roussillon. We highly recommend staying here.

What is not to like? All is in place: location, space, comfort, amenities, cleanliness, nice swimming pool (which can be heated but that was not needed as it was about 28/29 degrees because of the recent warm weather). Very kind hosts, wonderful people who live very close so can respond instantaneously. We did have a really minor issue and that was sorted straightaway, with kindness and with a smile. Location is very quiet, and yet within walking distance of the village (1,5km but don't go along the main road). There are several eateries/restaurants there, all of which are really good to very good. Two bakeries in the village clearly compete for the benefit of each other's quality as both are close to amazing. The small supermarket has lots to offer too. We were very familiar with the area and yet surprised. Away from the crowds and the busy touristy perched villages, and yet these are so close. St Saturnin is literally the next village, leaving behind the crowds. Lots of nice country roads for cycling: traffic far less dense than anywhere else, on the whole kind traffic too (try and find that in-between Gordes and Roussillon for instance), and all options on the table: from reasonably flat - try the cycling track between Apt and Cavaillon, preferably with a tailwind from Cavaillon), short but easy uphills, 1st cat climbs. Lots of smaller roads and cutbacks for walking, hiking amidst lavender, olives or vineyard. The latter roads need VTT/MTB, crosscountry or decent city/trekking bike type tyres for cycling though.

Spacious, clean, so many facilities for us to use, loved that it was a whole villa to ourselves and it was private although there were other villa’s around it was still like like our own private home. Every bedroom had a ensuite, balcony, garden view. The pool, the outdoor area, the garage, the washing machine and dryer, the kitchen and kitchenware was great, living area was comfortable and great for a family esp with dinning area. We loved our stay here! It feels like it away from the city but it’s still a 5-10min drive away so it was a perfect hideaway.
