FranceThe cook house is a wonderfully spacious, stylish and comfortable place to stay. There were lovely views across the fields, a marvellous sunrise for the Summer Solstice, and the sunsets each evening were awesome. We loved exploring the local area, There were good walks around fishing lakes and through woodland (even for seniors) and several National Trust places to visit in the locality. We enjoyed the welcome pack. We wish we could have extended our stay. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Thank you. We had a lovely break in this fantastic holiday cottage. We can definitely recommend.

AustraliaAs it is an old barn retrofitted, into an upstairs level, if you are tall like me, you have to be mindful of the low cross beams - I banged my head several times. It's a little quirky, but otherwise it's an excellent location, the hosts are friendly and I would stay there again.

JapanThe old farmhouse’s house has been renovated stylishly, and you can take photos that can be uploaded on Instagram no matter where you take pictures! “The staff at the hotel ordered an adapter of British tap for me and lent it to me, which was very helpful.” There were washing machines and dishwashers in the kitchen! The fireplace in the living room was made of old brick walls and it was wonderful!

AustraliaWe loved this property. We could tell it had been lovingly furnished. It had everything you could need! Off street parking, large TV, fridge, microwave, etc. The kitchen & bathroom with lots of added items, iron and ironing board, etc. Also had a comfy bed!

United KingdomBob and Mamadou were great hosts; they showed us around and explained where everything was. They were most helpful but not at all intrusive and we were sure we could ask if we needed anything.
Barn End itself is just the most beautiful cottage - a real 'home from home' and you almost feel it giving you a warm hug as you enter.
It's kitted out with everything you might need and more, and the hosts had really put a lot of thought and effort into putting together much information about the facilities and what is available in the local area too.
Set back from the road in beautiful gardens, the cottage is in a quiet and tranquil location - perfect for a relaxing break with lots of walking opportunities, yet not far from the facilities of Chippenham and for exploring picturesque nearby villages and towns such as Lacock and Corsham, for example.
We loved it (including our dog, who settled-in immediately!) and can't wait to come back!
