Great location Really clean & still holds some old charm with the fixtures & fittings. The lady on the front desk was so nice and nothing was too much trouble and as an additional bonus they have a gorgeous restaurant just downstairs. Very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Cosy historic hotel that has been well renovated so that the rooms and restaurant are very comfortable. Lovely friendly staff. Right near Stonehenge and worked very well as a stopover.

Everything was truly perfect. I dont know who is running the place but this hotel is really good. Felt super clean, very nice staff, food was amazing. Beds amazing..close to Stonehenge.

Everything about this hotel is outstanding - location close to Stonehenge and historic villages. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, bar and restaurant are delightful and staff are amazing. A big shout out to Kelsey who checked us in and looked after us the entire stay. Thank you Kelsey!

The location was very peaceful and easy to find. A good pub garden, comfortable rooms and the welcome was second to none. A local pub, which is a community consortium (since Jan 26), so there is a real sense of care and love about the way the pub and hotel is run. We were a group of eight (ten if you include the dogs!) and had four of the en-suite rooms, all of which were comfortable and very clean. Our family group have a number of dietary requirements (vegan, gluten and dairy intolerant) and the staff/owners went out of their way to ensure we were all covered and well fed. The staff and owners (and locals) are all really friendly and welcoming, we felt right at home. Would 100% recommend a stay at the Old Railway Hotel and we wish them all the very best of luck in making a success of the business - they have certainly started well!

The staff was number one! The location excellent. What warm and funny people. It was lovely chatting with the desk staff and the barman every day!

My wife and I wanted a cosy place to stay between a day in Bath and a day in Salisbury. It was exactly what we were looking for. The Old Mill struck a perfect balance between historic and cosy, with modern amenities - not to mention excellent and friendly service from the owner and all staff we interacted with. The location was perfect for a short walk into Salisbury. Breakfast was delicious.

The staff were really nice and friendly and provided a very warm welcome. The room was lovely and the beds were really comfortable with added blankets on the bed to get truly cosy. We paid for the breakfast which was made with care out of quality ingredients. Plenty of parking was available too. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Plan to visit again when coming back to see Longleat.

It's a wonderfully located hotel, 5 mins walk to the Cathedral. Very comfortable bed and nice clean room. The restaurant food was very good as were the waiters/waitresses. Breakfast was extensive and again the waiting staff were both friendly and helpful. The front desk were very helpful, especially on places of interest in the town. We will return to this hotel but in the summer when we can sit outside in the quaint courtyard.

The hotel is beautiful, and the location is perfect. I stayed in one of the oldest rooms, which had a nice Tudor fireplace. It was a really nice room, and the full English breakfast was delicious as well. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Breakfast was very good and a decent amount of vegetarian and vegan options. Room was fantastic. Comfortable bed, great climate control, nice bathroom and lovely little extras like mini bottles of toiletries, q chocolate and biscuits and hot drinks. Plus theres a complimentary welcome drink at the bar.

The minute we got there we felt at home, from the clean room, friendly staff and home made biscuits, it was a treat.
