Location to salisbury was perfect. Bed was amazingly comfy, pillows and duvet. Power shower. Brilliant large tv. The staff were welcoming, chatty and friendly. The wine list for me was great. Really good menu choice, not to large and good variety

If you have any mobility problems then request a room on first floor as there is a lift but stairs to second floor.
The New Inn which is a 10 min walk away does excellent food, with lovely big garden with fire pit if chilly, and full of character, good market on Saturdays.

Lots to do in a small city.
Lots to do in a small city. The cathedral is magnificent, but a 2 mile walk away is the old cathedral site at Old Sarum so the town boasts the tallest and shortest cathedrals in the country.
Lovely playhouse and other arts centres. The market is a large one, Tuesdays and Saturdays. Sir Edward Heath's (PM 1970-74) house is poignant and well worth a visit.

We loved the central location.
We loved the central location. The historical buildings, the very friendly people, the brilliant map provided by the city that led us easily to everything on foot so easily. Definitely on our list for future visit and at the same hotel - The Kings Head Inn Wetherspoon.

Gorgeous cathedral.
Gorgeous cathedral. Would also recommend visiting Old Sarum (we took the bus both ways, as time was tight, but would have liked to do the walk along the river - suggested by the Visitor’s Information Centre staff). Really enjoyed just wandering around and exploring the town centre…some very nice green spaces.

I know Salisbury quite well and I love it.
I know Salisbury quite well and I love it. I always go to the Hawk conservancy not far in Weyhill and have done so for the last 40 years and of course the cathedral. I was lucky enough to go to a Carol service at Christmas it was absolutely magical. Wiltshire is a beautiful county.

The location is good and easily accessible with a large car park. The reception and hotel lobby and function rooms are spacious and modernised. The front of house staff and kitchen staff are extremely attentive and courteous and couldn’t do much more for you. It’s a shame the venue lets it down, staff were the only positive of our trip being so helpful. Special shout out to Heaben who was just wonderful and deserves a pay rise for all the complaints she must deal with.
Beautiful pub in the city centre (close to market square and cathedral) with excellent breakfast and very delicious, very tasty dinner meals! Room (3-bed room) was extremely spacious including a huge bathroom (bigger than a standard hotel room) with bathtube and seperate shower. very friendly staff. Much better than expected! We really enjoyed it.
The location was excellent, easy to walk into the centre of Salisbury.Plenty of parking space, staff were friendly, everything clean and well kept internally and externally. We had a view of the Cathedral and river which was lovely. The hotel offer an evening shuttle service into Salisbury which is good although we preferred walking.
Hotel was as described. Good location in city centre. Room was clean and warm, staff very pleasant. Self service breakfast was very good. We reserved and paid for a parking space in hotel car park but there is a big municipal car park just around the corner. Good value for this part of the UK
