Loved our experiences at Fare Vahine Oviri - from the awesome welcome from Johnny and family, the 4 hour tour of the island with Johnny (the pilgrimage to Taputapuatea being the absolute highlight), snorkeling in the lagoon and even a meal with the family. The Fare is comfortable and well provisioned for self-catering. This delightful place is one of the best kept secrets in the whole Pacific.

We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

Picked up at the Airport by very friendly owner who gave us both Lai's and taken directly to a supermarket to purchase our food, then straight to our Lodgings. Very nice house, in a good location right on a beach. Kayaks provided to use to get to edge of reef for some really good snorkeling. Close to Taputaputea and other good walks that we really enjoyed. Great that it came with a car as Raiatea is a big island. We normally have hired scooters on other islands but a car was good to have on Raiatea.

The accommodation was modern and spacious, with a lovely communal area perfect for relaxing. The location was fantastic — peaceful and well-situated, with the bonus of a small private beach. We really appreciated the use of the kayaks and bikes, as well as the convenient laundry service. Most of all, Tepairu was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host. We’d love to come back again. It was wonderful to have our own private beach and entrance to the water. The family that helps on the property was also super nice and extremely accommodating to anything we needed.
