The accommodation is located centrally in Lauingen, with restaurants and shops in walking distance. The railway station is a short 15 minute walk, where the train can take you to Dillingen for example. The Donau itself and a nice, relatively recent, park is just 10 minutes by foot. This park is ideal for children, with plenty of playground equipment, a waterworks to play in, and lots of shadow. The local beergarten was, unfortunately, closed or even out of business. For children, Legoland in Gunzburg is also not far away. The accommodation has character, with lots of small decorations, small paintings, etc etc, to give it is a bit of hybrid vintage-retro atmosphere. This is further exemplified by the somewhat low ceilings / door openings. All usual kitchen utensils are available, except for a dishwasher, and plenty of blankets, towels, etc.

The owner is very nice and helpful. The apartment was clean and it has all that you need for living. It is a very peaceful location and it has a barbecue place on the back. Unfortunately we didn't use it because of bad weather.. Definitely recommended.

Clean comfortable room and beds on the 2nd floor with an elevator. Great shower. Checked in on line before arriving. We arrived early at 2 PM and were allowed.to occupy our room. Bike parking in a locked garage next to the hotel. The breakfast room was very busy even during early opening at 7am. The manager hustled to keep everything topped up..
