Location: just minutes away from Luzern by car. Culinarium is located in a wonderful small town surrounded by nature, mountains & fresh air.
Restaurant: Try the surprise menu for a culinary experience. The menus were only in German, but that wasn't an issue as some spoke English.
Breakfast was basic but plentiful: with breads, jams, cheese & eggs at your disposal.
Room: Scandinavian chic comes to mind. Decor is simple but works well as the natural outdoor scenery shines bright.

The location was great. Although it was away from the main station, but the free local travel passes made it easier to explore the city. The most impressive thing was dealing of the staff especially Alaxander who was well behaved, very supportive and helpful.

We decided to base ourselves out of the city and could not have picked a better location and hotel. 20 min by train to lucern and we had a cable car up the mountain across the road. Stans has lovely feel with plenty of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Would highly recommend staying here.

They had given me different apartment which is not having kitchen, I don't know why and when I asked them they told me you have not requested for kitchen. But the images shown are with kitchen, when asked on that they again told, the images shown are of all apartments. The wifi not working, it works only on entry door as it's of the outside restaurant. Flooring is very bad. Not worth to stay.

We planned to visit Lucerne and Grindlewald and settled on Stans for a hotel location. We didn't spend really any time in Stans - it was such a small town, but we were happy we stayed here versus Lucerne as we were burnt our from staying in the center of large cities and simply wanted some quiet and less chaos. Stans has great scenery and is easy to connect to the motorways. Lucerne and Mt. Pilatus are minutes away and easy to get to.

The Swiss are friendly but not in a way that British visitors will be used to. They wont engage you in conversation out of the blue, but if you need directions or assistance that are extremely accommodating! Most people speak at least a little English, and they dont mind doing so at all. An attempt at German is always appreciated, and Swiss German is quite different in some ways, so they dont expect you to use the local dialect. Even French is understood by many people. Stans is a lovely town, with fantastic mountain views and so many walks and activities - sailing, skiing, walking etc, and a really good selection of bars, restuarants and cafes. There is a railway to the top of the local mountain. If you look up the Stanserhof hotel it is directly opposide in a charming old Chalet - Stanserhofbahn. There are a good range of shops, cycle hire, pharmacies etc. and rail and tram travel is frequent and easy to access, so getting around is just simple!
Amazing boutique/agrotourismus hotel!
This 300 old monastery was renovated to am amazing hotel. Decoration combines history with modern elements with harmony.
The rooms are really practical and the food/drink quality is awesome.
You will be amazed by the facilities and the old elements.
Staff was super friendly and professional.
There is also a nice shop with amazing local products.
Parking for free within the hotel facility.
The room was immaculate with an incredible view, and one of the best hotel showers I’ve ever had!! The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, and the area itself was so peaceful and quiet, especially early in the mornings. We also loved the breakfast. We easily could’ve stayed for another 3 nights - we will definitely be back!
Picked up the keys from the bar/restaurant opposite, had a refreshing beer whilst there. Helpful staff allowed us to park our motorbikes within a stones throw from the apartment. Apartment was large and cool, no air con but it was comfortable despite the 36 degree heat outside. kitchen and bathroom was adequate. Centrally located in Stans
It was great to have communal space for my family, along with a balcony. We were able to find space to relax together or be apart, which was great after 2 weeks of hotel living. We were grateful for the fridge and freezer, we could eat at home and on our own time. We also enjoyed listening to the cow bells while relaxing on the balcony!
Newly renovated. Everything new and well designed. Dynamic, responsive staff. Breakfast was unbeatable. Comfy beds. Excellent location right near train station and centre of town. Also liked the scenes of Switzerland around the hotel which along with other aspects of our stay, made it a big part of a beautiful Swiss experience!
Staff was friendly, location was close to the autobahn so easy to enter and exit.
Stans Sud is a good area if you're planning to visit the main attractions and have a car. They also have a free open parking which is a blessing in Switzerland. Also they're breakfast is decent for the price.
It was perfectly located for the Cabrio cable to Stanserhorn - 10 mins walking distance or 3 mins drive by car.
Very clean and well-equipped. Also very spacious for our 9 month old to crawl around the house without worrying that he might break something.
Location was perfect for us. Sightseeing in the village and cable car 20 mtrs from hotel. Lovely cafes and restaurants very close. Train 2 minutes away allows easy access to Lucerne which 20 minutes away. Room was spacious with a fridge.
Staff was friendly and helpful! Hotel rooms in Switzerland are the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. Loved staying in boutique hotels more for this trip. The room was small but cutely decorated.
location is very convenient to explore the area of pilatus, stanserhorn and Engrlberg.
parking. nespresso machine. clean. comfortable bed. calm neighbourhood. easy to check in and check out
A Super hotel . The staff are exceptional. They made our stay really enjoyable and their help was very much appreciated.
The room and breakfast were excellant.
Although the hotel does not have a restaurant for the evening, they gave excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants, and made the reservations for us.
