Hotel staff were extremely helpful after British Airways cancelled our flight at 00:30, after 5 hours delay. We were all starving, tired and disappointed we could not go home, but they dealt with everyone's last minute check-in with a lot of patience and understanding. Rooms were nice and clean. The lounge was very comfortable and a much better waiting area than a cold airport gate.

We used the hotel's shuttle service to and from the airport, which was very convenient. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Guests were offered mulled wine and cake, which was a nice touch. The location was great – we reached Cologne city center in just 35 minutes. The room was warm and cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

A recently renovated homestay, Airport Rooms Waldblick offers accommodations in Cologne. Free Wifi is provided throughout the property and private parking is available on site. Checked in very late, after midnight, but the property owner was super friendly and accommodating, so I felt very welcomed here. It was very very clean and modern. Also I got nice little chocolate treat in my room which was great way to start my stay here. Would definitely come back if need to stay near the airport. It's only 20 minute walk to it!

Akazienhof Hotel & Brauhaus offers free parking, affordable and convenient accommodations in the Porz district, close to Cologne/Bonn Airport. I really like staying at this hotel. The parking is so easy and convenient. There is a bar and restaurant right below your room so you can have some beers or cocktails and just go up the stairs to your room. I love supporting family-owned hotels rather than the big chains. I have stayed here before this trip, and I hope to stay here again the next time I visit Cologne. Both times I stayed the staff was so friendly and helpful to me. This time I had a low pressure on my BMW tire and the man got me pointed in the right direction to get it looked at. The rooms are nice and comfortable. They are spacious. The bathrooms are nice. It is so easy to find and drive to. And the price is very good and descent.
