The apartment is well situated and has lots of good facilities, including the ability to iron, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels and cooking facilities including a microwave. There is also air conditioning in the lounge area and bedroom. We booked this to attend the Mad Cool festival and couldn't be happier. The apartment was close to the airport (one stop on the metro) without being on the flight path so no airplane noise and had a lovely square and gardens nearby for some local cafes, shops restaurants and bars nearby. There was also a taxi stand and luggage storage really close by. The host was also very helpful and supportive in terms of checking in and answering questions.

So kind, responsive and polite. Gave us any recommendation needed, especially about the navigation tips and taxi services. The appartment was very clean, tidy and comfortable, also very close to the airport. The neighbourhood was calm and safe.

This family-run guesthouse is in Barajas, just a 5-minute drive from Madrid International Airport and 9.5 miles from the center of the city. It provides a free 24-hour airport shuttle. For years now, whenever I, or anyone else in my family, leave from Barajas, we spend the last night in Madrid at Hostal Viki and are sure to arrive on time and refreshed to our flight.

Proximity to the airport is as good as it gets (one subway station, directly from the airport terminals) plus a couple of blocks’ walk).
