Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. It's a very cozy hotel. I felt like visiting good friends.

The standard room is big and comfortable, warm with heavy curtains to block the sunlight. The staff were very kind and helpful with whatever we needed. The breakfast had a large variety of goodies and the place itself has a stunning view and a cozy feeling. The Nansen restaurant inside the hotel serves delicious food.

Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. Perfect location right in the center of town. Fun, rustic “Arctic explorer” style. Room is cozy and comfortable.

Great location in the middle of Longyearbyen with many eating and drinking options with a couple of minutes walk. The room was perfect for our group of six and was bigger that we'd expected. Very comfortable and convenient. We'd feared there might be night-time noise from the pub below - none whatsoever. If we ever return to Svalbard, we'd be happy to stay here again.

Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Svalbard Hotell Polfareren offers 24-hour reception, free WiFi internet access, a terrace and modern rooms with flat-screen TVs. The room was really spacious and clean. All of the staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Nice breakfast and many gluten free options as well so my partner could get a proper breakfast. The information centre is right across this hotel where you can get information about different tours, maps etc. The location of the hotel was easily accessible from the airport with the shuttle. And it was easy to go for short walks around town within the polar bear safe area.

This hotel is located on the island of Spitsbergen, in Norway’s Arctic Archipelago, Svalbard. It offers stunning views, free WiFi and free afternoon treats. Access to a relaxation area is also free. This is fabulous hotel on the edge of town - the staff were a highlight, from my checkin with Richard to the incredibly warm and helpful Tina and other receptionist from the UK, and really great bar staff Davide, Tito, and Tartour who were genuinely friendly and as interested in the landscape and all Svalbard has to offer. The company is fortunate to have such great staff! The hotel was perfectly cosy and inviting as were its staff! The n. lights can be seen from the back of the hotel - it was perfect.

Staff are absolutely wonderful, the place was spotless, we felt right at home. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you!!
