We arrived in Milos after nearly three days of travelling from New Zealand. I could have cried, the suite and its location were so beautiful! We loved every second of our stay and had everything we needed. There are four suites with a shared area inbetween, and it was great to socialise with other travellers. We do recommend hiring a car while staying here, as the suites are about a 10-15 minute drive from Adamantas, and the terrain is quite hilly. However you are still a very close drive to all attractions, and walking distance to a few different beaches! Marianna was the best part of our trip. She was so personable and warm - and gives great hugs! She and her mother made our stay so special, from brewing us morning coffee and toast, to giving us local advice on the best sights, beaches, restaurants and more. The best hosts in Milos, if not all of Greece!

This is one of the most beautiful accommodations I’ve ever stayed at. The place is stunning, the private beach, the views, the owners, the cats - everything was perfect!!! Would reccommend this to anyone searching for a place in Milos and I hope to go back next year.

The accommodation looks like a holiday village, with separate bungalows, each with a small private terrace and access to a shared garden. It feels like holiday from the moment you get in. It is not directly on the beach, but a short walk away. We enjoyed the evenings in the garden with sea view and moon view. The staff were nice and professional, told us everything we needed to know from the very beginning and we found everything we needed in the rooms (including wine bottle openers, glasses and bowls). The cleaning staff were very discreet, we never met them but enjoyed the fresh towels. There were two staff members at the property in case of emergency, but they were also very discreet. There is no proper parking outside the property, but the street is very quiet, so there was no problem leaving the car by the side of the road. One cannot arrive at this property without a car/bike.

We absolutely loved our stay at Akrothalassia. Flora and Katerina were excellent hosts...friendly and helpful with great advice on restaurants and beaches, and they've created such a wonderful boutique hotel. Our room was comfortable and impeccably cleaned each day, the balcony had plenty of shade and the sea view was lovely, and we appreciated the shared kitchen for filling our water bottles, preparing tea each morning, and grabbing the tasty cakes that Katerina made. Don't let its close proximity to the small airport deter you...there were only a few flights arriving each day, and never at night, and if you're like me you'll actually find it cool to see them fly overhead and run out to the balcony when you hear one approaching. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved to stay here and highly recommend this place! First of all the location is great, close to the towns you want to visit (Adamantas/ Plaka/ Trypiti and good located for all touristy sites), but a bit off the buzzing center so you have a quiet place with an amazing view on the ocean over the infinity pool! Second of all - our personal Milos-hero: Dimitris! Not only did he welcome us late at night when we had several hours of delay from the ferry, he also gave us amazing tips what to do, when to do it best (avoid heat or crowds) and especially where to eat! He helped us organize a quad and other activities and reservations! He made everything so easy and special! Also the rooms were spacious, clean every day and had everything we needed and more! Thank you very much for the great stay!
